Why more than a basic inspection?
Basic NYC inspections are commonly advertised at about $400–$750, and the report stops at “consult a contractor.” Ours finishes the job: a ranked, priced list you can negotiate with. A price reduction or credit on one large repair can be worth more than the fee.
How we compare to engineer inspections
Engineer-led inspections in NYC are often quoted at about $900–$1,800 and rarely priced online. We publish our prices, and every finding comes with a repair cost.
Co-ops and condos
The inspector covers the unit and its systems. Some buildings limit access for buyer inspections. Arranging access with the building is the buyer's responsibility, and we'll help with what to ask.
