Privacy Policy

Prime Edge Consulting NYC is a service of Prime Edge Construction LLC, a New York limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use this site or order from us, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The short version

• We collect what you type into our forms, the inspection report you upload, and what you email us.
• We use it to arrange your inspection, price the findings, deliver your report and answer your questions.
• We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. This site has no ad pixels and no marketing list. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies.
• Stripe takes your card. We never see or store the full card number.
• Unpaid uploads are deleted within 7 days. Inspection reports and the reports we deliver are deleted about 12 months after delivery.

What we collect

When you book a Repair-Cost Report with inspection: the property address, borough and ZIP code, property type, listing link if you add one, your preferred dates, your contract deadline if you give one, rush and add-on choices, your name, email and mobile number, your agent or attorney if you name one, and any notes. After the inspection, the inspector sends us the inspection report, with your consent, so we can price it.

When you order a Repair-Cost Report from your inspection: the inspection report you upload, the property address, borough and type, rush choice, your name and email, your phone number and contract deadline if you give them, and any notes. An inspection report can include photos of the inside of the home, its layout, security features and the names of other people. Please upload only a report you have the right to share. You are welcome to black out other people's names first.

When you pay: Stripe tells us whether the payment went through, the amount and a payment reference. We never receive your full card number.

When you email us: your message, your email address and anything you attach.

Automatically, when you visit: your internet (IP) address and basic browser and device details, which our hosting provider processes to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Cloudflare Web Analytics records which pages are viewed, the site you came from, your browser and device type, and your approximate country, to count visits. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. To stop form abuse we keep a short-lived record based on your internet address for about a day.

Please don't put health details or other sensitive personal information in the notes fields. We don't need it.

How we use it

• To schedule the inspection with the inspector, confirm the time and send your payment link.
• To price the findings, prepare and deliver your report, and answer your questions about it until closing.
• To send you emails about your order. We may call or text the number you gave us about your order. We do not send marketing texts.
• After we deliver a report, we may email you once to ask for a review. You can tell us not to, and we ask every customer the same way.
• To take payment, keep tax and accounting records, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal duties.

Who we share it with

The inspector. For a Repair-Cost Report with inspection, we give the licensed home inspector we hire for your inspection what they need to do it: your name, contact details, the property, dates and access notes. The inspector is a separate business and handles your information under its own obligations and its pre-inspection agreement with you.

Companies that run parts of our service for us. They process your information on our behalf, under their contracts with us:

• Cloudflare hosts the site, stores form details and uploaded reports, runs the bot check, and forwards email sent to our addresses (Cloudflare's privacy policy).
• Resend sends the emails about your order (Resend's privacy policy).
• Our business email and cloud storage provider holds the emails, uploaded reports and the reports we prepare.

Stripe. When you pay, Stripe collects your card and billing details on its own checkout page. Stripe takes the payment for us, and also uses payment data for its own fraud prevention and legal compliance under Stripe's privacy policy. A deletion request you send us doesn't reach the records Stripe keeps for those purposes.

Others, only when needed: your agent or attorney if you ask us to send them something; anyone the law requires us to tell, such as a court or regulator; and a buyer of our business, who would have to follow this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, including sensitive information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and tracking

Our site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits; it sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites. If a form comes back with an error, your browser keeps what you typed in that tab so you don't have to type it again; it is cleared as soon as it's filled back in, or when you close the tab. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie if your browser has to pass a bot check, and Turnstile reads browser and device signals to do that check. Stripe uses its own cookies on its checkout page, which is Stripe's site, not ours. Because we don't track you across sites, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals don't change anything here. No other company collects information about your activity across sites through ours, apart from the Cloudflare and Stripe processing described above.

How long we keep it

We keep something longer only when the law requires it, to settle a dispute, or while a legal hold applies. Cloudflare and Stripe keep their own logs under their own policies.

How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your information. The site runs over encrypted connections, card details stay with Stripe, only the people who run the business can get into our systems, and we delete files on the schedule above. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you anything other than emails about your order. Email [email protected] from the address you used with us, or give us your order details, so we know the request is yours. Someone you authorize in writing can ask for you. We reply within 30 days.

We may keep what we must for tax, accounting or legal reasons, to finish an order that is still open, or to deal with fraud or a legal claim, and we'll tell you if that applies. Asking won't change the service or price you get.

Children

Our service is for adults buying a home. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Where your information is processed

We serve properties in New York City and run the business from the United States. Our form records and uploaded files are stored in North America. Some of our providers, such as Cloudflare and Stripe, process information on networks around the world under their own safeguards.

Other sites

Links to other sites, such as a listing link, Stripe's checkout or a review site, are governed by those sites' own policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change matters to an order you have open with us, we will also email you.
